Located in the backstreets of Tanti in Mornington, Home Ground Cafe is a social enterprise and specialty coffee cafe, dedicated to enriching its local community. As a training cafe, it offers on-the-job instruction and employment opportunities for the community’s youth.
Beyond providing exceptional coffee and homemade food, the team passionately works on initiatives that benefit the wider community. Among these are the pay-it-forward board and the ‘In This Together’ initiative, both designed to foster social connection and support. It also maintains a community garden, encouraging sustainable practices.
The cafe is open from Monday through Saturday, ensuring its vision to champion the strengths of its local community is a daily endeavor.
