Merricks Estate, a renowned vineyard in Southern Victoria, is nestled on the Mornington Peninsula’s gentle slopes, offering views of Western Port Bay. Established in 1978 by the Kefford family, it was among the region’s first commercial vineyards, transforming an area previously known for farming, horticulture, and tourism.
The cool climate and extended ripening season lend themselves to producing some of Australia’s most distinctive fine wines. Since 1982, Merricks Estate has been crafting high-quality wines from estate-grown Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, and Cabernet Sauvignon, all aged four to seven years before release.
