Stumpy Gully Vineyard, established in 1989, is a family-operated vineyard nestled within Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula in the Moorooduc Wine Touring Area.
Owned by the Zantvoort family, it capitalizes on the generous, unspoiled soils of the region and the unique mesoclimate between the Peninsula’s two bays, offering a diverse range of winemaking opportunities. Stumpy Gully Vineyard cultivates 11 distinct varieties of wine across four distinct blocks.
Classic staples include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Shiraz, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard also ventures into more exotic varieties such as Pinot Grigio, Viognier, Marsanne, and since 1998, the first Peninsula-grown Sangiovese, all produced under the Stumpy Gully name.
