They serve breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea seven days a week, with extended hours for dinner on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Open all year round, the cafe provides warm rugs and cushions on cooler days for a comfortable dining experience. They are noted for their premium barista-made coffee, and as a liquor licensed venue, serve a wide selection of beer and wine from lunchtime onwards, including Carlton Draught on tap.
