Originally an exclusive members club, St Andrews debuted as Australia’s 9th best course in 2006. The club’s location offers a reminiscent experience of the renowned links courses of Britain and Ireland, mirroring the allure of Melbourne’s acclaimed sandbelt region.

Esteemed golf course architect Tom Doak designed this classic 18-hole links-style course with the ambition of crafting one of the world’s best golf courses. Despite the common association of strong winds with links-style courses, the club’s natural valleys and trees provide elemental protection.

St Andrews Beach supports year-round play, thanks to its landscape and soil type. The Gunnamatta Club now hosts regular competition play on Saturdays at St Andrews, with additional competitions during peak periods. Both members and visitors can participate for a nominal competition entry fee.
